The sea is an important part of my life. I feel at peace whenever I am near the water and it is there that I feel the strong urges of creativity. On whichever coast I may be, I sense the sea breeze blowing whispers of inspiration guiding my course as if I were a sailboat.  My children grew up with sailing, even competing internationally and still reap the benefits of starting young.

I have never really mastered the art myself, other than dabbling on a sunfish but I do love to sail in the wind with those more experienced in admiration of the skills that offer them freedom on the waves.  The courage to weather a storm is reserved for the brave and the knowledgeable and although learning to sail  is on my "to do" list, for the time being I will stick to observing through the lens.
